ABOUT US

For many years I received flowers for many occasions. I appreciated each one. Then one day a very special friend picked three pink Peonies from their own garden and placed them into my hand. This very special friend has a hard time expressing their feelings and emotions. As my friend placed the fragrant blossoms into my hand, no words were needed. Today my memory rests in a heart shaped box beside my bed. I will never part with the photograph and the dried petals that were given in love. However lovely the memory is, I have to open the box to look at my memory. If only I had known about freeze drying then. When a flower is freeze dried, it will hold its shape, color, and some of its fragrance. You will be amazed at how soft it remains. You can have a beautiful keepsake. You do not have to settle for dry brittle petals in a box.

Flowers have always been a miracle from God to me. I remember that as a young child I would pick the daffodils that my Great Grandmother had planted at the edge of the wheat fields. When I held them to the sunlight, they would sparkle like diamonds. I loved their soft sweet fragrance. I had a great determination when it came to flower gardens.

My giant yellow Marigolds amazed the ones who tried to tell me they would never grow there. The gardens at Precious Treasured Memories are just as lovely. The preservation of flowers is a pleasure for me. Each time I open my freeze drier, I am amazed by all the beauty that is before me. It is all I can do to wait the two or three weeks before I can take them out.
